The CEO Opportunity
The company is now looking to appoint a highly experienced, collaborative and commercially focused Chief Executive Officer with the leadership skills, energy and vision to drive profitable growth and greater shareholder value.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, collaborate and develop the Titon Executive and Senior Leadership Team to drive profitable growth, operational excellence, new product innovation and employee engagement in line with overall business objectives
- Develop, implement and engage in rolling three year strategic plans to return the business to double digit profitability as soon as possible
- Lead the global business of Titon on a day-to-day basis, working closely with the Directors of the following activities:
- Commercial: including sales, marketing, pricing, labour costs
- Purchasing: ensuring a reliable, cost effective and robust supply chain
- Production: including driving manufacturing efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives
- Product development: including encouraging investment in viable new product innovation and routes to market
- Financially astute with the interest and ability to interpret data to inform key decision making, working closely with the Chief Financial Officer to ensure the business delivers against budget and profit forecasts
- Oversee the current joint venture in South Korea, including regular visits to South Korea and attendance at the annual audit meeting in South Korea as necessary
- Maintain effective stakeholder and shareholder relationship management and external advisor relations
- Maintain awareness of the competitive market landscape and ventilation and window and door hardware industry developments, identifying and delivering growth opportunities

- Provide a strong corporate governance framework and promote best practice in all business activities
- Assess, monitor and minimise risks to the company
- Ensure the Health and Safety of colleagues is at the forefront of decision making and operations
- Develop, coach and inspire the senior leadership team to drive a forward-thinking culture of engagement and performance

Place of Work: Colchester and Haverhill
THE CANDIDATE
- A background of driving profitable growth, performance and increased productivity within a quality focused manufacturing / mechanical engineering environment
- The ability to develop and articulate strategy, engaging all in the company vision and the expected deliverables.
- Strong emotional intelligence, listening and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience as an MD/CEO leading change with a collaborative and inclusive 'evolution not revolution' approach
- A commercial and ambitious mindset with strong financial management and the ability to deliver against budget
- Personality traits to include a blend of professionalism, ambition, authenticity and a passion for developing people
- Strong collaboration, clarity of communication and engaging presentation skills
